meet the artists
Laura and Karen have over 45 years of combined painting experience.
Laura graduated with a degree in Art and Neuroscience from Allegheny College, earned a Master's Degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from Duquesne University, and is one of the owners of Dots and Doodles. She has been painting recreationally since the age of 2 and has been selling artwork since the studio opened in 2013.
Karen came to Dots and Doodles in 2019 after owning her own pottery studio (Mud Pie in Cranberry Twp) for 12 years. She has a degree in Fine Arts from IUP and has been painting and selling artwork for over 30 years. She has even painted for the Pope!
